About the Director
Eli Breydo
Eli Breydo has studied piano with Irina Nuzova at The Lucy Moses School for 10 years, where he also plays in a piano trio coached by Wanda Glowacka. As student of the Young Artist Program, Eli was chosen to participate in Master Classes with Boaz Sharon and Balázs Fülei. He was selected to perform at the Henry Schneider Young Artists Concert in Merkin Hall as well as at the Kaufman Center Composer Festival. In 2026, he won the Kaufman Music Center Concerto Competition and performed with the competition orchestra. Outside Lucy Moses School, Eli has won first place at several international competitions, most recently the 2025 Musical Life Competition, leading him to perform at the Weill Recital Hall in Carnegie Hall. In past summers, Eli has participated the following international music festivals, where he performed solo and also with orchestras: EuroArts in Szczecin, Poland; the Perugia Music Festival in Perugia, Italy; the Piano Concerto Festival in Paris, France; and Classical Hugs in Tallinn, Estonia. He became the artistic director and coordinator of Music for the Ages in 2025. He is currently the head of our leadership team at Music for the Ages.
About the Founder
Anton Everts
Anton Everts has played the classical piano since he was 5 years old, learning first from his mother and then from a private teacher at the Lucy Moses School. In high school, he began to see classical music in a new light - a vehicle for connection that can span generations. With this in mind, Anton looked for opportunities to perform in retirement communities around the city, and also aimed to inspire these ideas of connection in younger students. He founded Music for the Ages in 2024. Anton currently studies biochemistry at Oxford university, and continues to practice the piano every day.
